About the role

The Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician role supports the production of industry-leading in-flight entertainment, satellite connectivity, and antenna systems used by commercial airlines around the world.

Responsibilities

• Perform electro-mechanical assembly, soldering, testing, and quality inspections on production and prototype hardware.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, assembly instructions, and manufacturing documentation.
• Use hand tools, calibrated tools, torque drivers, torque wrenches, and assembly fixtures.
• Assemble and disassemble mechanical and electrical assemblies.
• Perform basic functional testing, including continuity, dielectric, and bonding tests.

Requirements

• 3+ years of electro-mechanical assembly and testing experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience soldering to IPC-610 standards and performing rework using IPC-7711/7721 procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, assembly instructions, and manufacturing documentation.
• Experience using hand tools, calibrated tools, torque drivers, torque wrenches, and assembly fixtures.
• Hands-on experience assembling and disassembling mechanical and electrical assemblies.
• Experience performing basic functional testing, including continuity, dielectric, and bonding tests.

Qualifications

• Proficient computer skills for accessing drawings, work instructions, and production documentation.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality, safety, and meeting production goals.
