Duties And/or Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspection, maintenance, and repair of asphalt plant equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Conduct preventative maintenance tasks such as lubrication, belt adjustments, filter changes, and component replacements
- Diagnose equipment failures and implement timely corrective actions to minimize downtime
- Maintain burners and fuel systems, including tuning and cleaning for optimal performance
- Repair or replace motors, gearboxes, bearings, chains, and other critical components
- Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and technical drawings
- Work closely with plant operators and management to identify maintenance needs and improvement opportunities
- Assist with plant upgrades, modifications, and installation of new equipment
- Perform general welding and fabrication as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Proven work history reflecting a minimum of 5 years of experience
- Mechanical, electrical, fabrication experience
- A current Driver’s license
- Millwright experience preferred
- Experience with Asphalt Plants preferred
- Must be able to meet company's attendance policy
