Asphalt Plant Laborer

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies, rules and regulations of OSHA/MSHA and Pennsy Supply, Inc.
- Determines need for fuel, coolants, lubricants, ignition aids, and adds as needed; inspects, lubricates, and services truck and reports condition of vehicle to Supervisor
- Preparedness to learn dozer, excavator, plant loader, pit loader and any other mobile equipment associated to the quarry operation
- Sustains high degree of care and attention required to prevent injury to others in highly congested areas
- Maintains correct stockpiling techniques to ensure material does not segregate
- Responsible to stockpile proper product on correct stockpiles
- Aid the plant operator when needed
- Remove dust from the dust silo
- Clean materials under conveyors and plant areas
- Performs general laboring duties when necessary
Requirements
- Must submit to a drug screen and criminal background check
- Able to work various times during day, night or weekend hours, at various locations
- High school Diploma or GED equivalent
- Previous experience working in or around an asphalt plant helpful but not required
