About the role

Bell & Evans is seeking a Production Associate to join our Tray Pack department. The Production Associate will perform a variety of production tasks to ensure customer orders are completed accurately, efficiently, and on schedule. This role plays a key part in meeting food safety, product quality, and production standards. The ideal candidate is a responsible, detail-oriented individual committed to working safely as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned tasks within the Tray Pack department to support on-time order fulfillment.
• Place product into trays on the conveyor line according to established production procedures.
• Inspect product and identify any defective or non-conforming items.
• Remove defective products from the line and place them in the designated rework area.
• Adhere to all company food safety, quality, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Immediately report any safety or quality concerns to the supervisor.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Work effectively with other team members to meet production goals and customer requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Prior experience in production, manufacturing, food processing, or related areas is preferred but not required.
• No formal education required.
• Ability to follow established instructions and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
• Reliable, responsible, and willing to work as part of a team.

Skills

• Ability to speak and understand English.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to complete routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and employees throughout the organization.

Work environment

This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced food production environment. The selected candidate must follow established safety and food safety procedures while maintaining productivity and product quality.
