Job Description

The Retail Assistant Manager- II provides store leadership at the largest of our Goodwill store sites. They supervise staff who sort and grade incoming goods, and must demonstrate top-notch customer service skills, particularly in dealing with elevated customer issues.

• Assisting in hiring, scheduling, counseling, and terminating staff as requested.
• Ensuring production goals and sales goals are met.
• Closing store, reconciling cash with daily sales reports, and securing the facility for night.
• Preparing and maintaining records of store operations including daily sales reports, cash deposits, and opening/closing reports.
• Cash register/customer service.
• Receiving, pricing, and stocking donations (occasionally lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, and frequently lifting and carrying 10 to 35 pounds).
• Hanging, inspecting, and tagging textiles and clothing in a production style setting.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• An associate’s degree in a business-related field is preferred.
• Five years of progressive management experience are required, preferably in a retail or production facility.
