Asleep Overnight/Direct Care (S)

About the Role

Full-time overnight direct care position (30 hours) at Sherwood Ave Residential Services, Thursday–Saturday, 11:00 PM–9:00 AM.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care coverage, responding to individual issues between 11:00 PM and 9:00 AM on scheduled nights/mornings and as required by the Program Manager.
• Call or arrive shortly before 11:00 PM for an update on program status.
• Know emergency procedures and basic emergency facts regarding all individuals living at the location.
• If Med Certified, dispense medications as prescribed.
• Additional duties as assigned by the Program Manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 year of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• CPR/First Aid Certificate.
• Valid MA driver’s license; availability of a vehicle.

Skills

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents.
• Ability to respond to inquiries or complaints from regulatory agencies or family members.
