Aseptic Packaging Technician (Tuesday - Friday, 6:00AM - 4:30PM)

Responsibilities

• Perform aseptic processing, packaging, and labeling of allografts.
• Document vascular allograft attributes and handle cryopreserved allografts.
• Repackage cryopreserved allografts and perform sterile and non-sterile duties for aseptic transfers.
• Receive, inspect, label, and document incoming tissue.
• Circulate at dissection and disinfect, assemble, and sterilize laboratory instruments.
• Prepare disinfectants, solutions, and intermediates.
• Clean processing areas and general lab area, including laundering of laboratory scrubs and waste disposal.
• Monitor and record equipment parameters and manage supply stocking and material systems.
• Produce complete and accurate documentation/labeling for all functions.
• Complete appropriate training records prior to performing associated functions.
• Perform all functions in compliance with Artivion Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Generate manufacturing batch records to comply with regulatory requirements, good manufacturing/tissue practices, and SOPs.
• Perform initial checks of completed documents for completeness and accuracy.
• Label and package final biological tissue packaging.
• Set up, change over, and operate labeling and packaging equipment.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (high school students age 18 or above may be considered).
• Experience in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry preferred.
• Knowledge of Good Documentation Practice (GDP), Good Tissue Practice (GTP), Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), and AATB regulations preferred.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable.
• Capable of following instructions and working without direct supervision.
• Good oral and written communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines.
• Strict adherence to aseptic technique and standard operating procedures.
