About the role
The Academic Success Center (ASC) provides academic support across all majors and disciplines with the goal of helping students become engaged, self-sufficient learners who are confident in their abilities to reach their goals. ASC Service Coordinators work to provide an approachable, nurturing environment within the Academic Success Center. Their goal is to ensure all visitors feel welcomed, supported, and aware of ASC services provided for the campus community.
Responsibilities
- Manage the ASC email account
- Answer the phone
- Ensure all appointments are running smoothly
- Maintain student employee presence in the space
- Perform special projects such as organizing supplies, performing class visits, assisting ASC professional staff, and anything else to ensure effective ASC operations and customer service
Qualifications
- Communication skills: interact effectively with others, both written and verbally
- Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
- Project management skills and accountability
