About the role
The Asbestos Project Monitor is responsible for overseeing asbestos management projects to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess asbestos management projects to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Identify and address potential risks related to asbestos exposure.
- Collaborate with project teams to develop and implement asbestos management plans.
- Conduct inspections and audits to verify compliance with asbestos regulations.
- Provide guidance and training to project staff on asbestos management best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in asbestos management or related field.
- Knowledge of relevant local, state, and federal regulations.
- Experience with asbestos testing and sampling techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
