Asbestos Project Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Cook up daily field remediation operations.
• Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to enhance safety and workflow efficiency.
• Ensure all projects are completed on time and within scope and budget.
• Monitor procurement and inventory of project materials and equipment.
• Maintain strict compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Department of Transportation (DOT), and other relevant safety/environmental regulations.
• Lead project bidding efforts, manage departmental/project budgets, and oversee post-project cost analysis.
• Assign and supervise fieldwork, managing staffing and resources effectively.
• Conduct site visits to assess progress, safety, and adherence to protocol.
• Troubleshoot and resolve project issues on site.
• Enforce health and safety policies and lead a safety-first culture.
• Ensure certifications and training for all employees are up-to-date.
• Conduct regular safety audits, incident investigations, and corrective action plans.
• Recruit, train, mentor, and conduct performance evaluations for site supervisors and crew.
• Support business development and growth in both divisions by providing technical expertise for proposals, maintaining and developing key client relationships, and driving continuous improvement efforts.
