Asbestos Manager-California

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support asbestos technicians on job sites.
• Manage asbestos abatement, containment, and remediation projects.
• Ensure all work is completed according to federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company procedures.
• Monitor job progress, timelines, and budgets.
• Perform site inspections and quality control checks.
• Communicate effectively with clients, project managers, consultants, and internal teams.
• Document job details, including daily reports, project photos, and required compliance documentation.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Enforce safety protocols and compliance with OSHA, EPA, and applicable asbestos regulations.
• Train and mentor team members to support growth and development.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in asbestos abatement or environmental remediation.
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of asbestos removal procedures, containment methods, and safety requirements.
• Current Asbestos Supervisor certification/license (as required by state).
• OSHA certification preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and work in various environmental conditions.
