AS400/COBOL Tech Lead with Pharmacy Claims and Synon

About the role

We are seeking a technical lead with 8+ years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in COBOL/400, AS400 and CLLE along with domain experience in Medicare & Medicaid Claims, Claims, and Payer. This role requires a proactive individual who can contribute to our Rxclaim development projects and help us achieve our goals. The position requires strong knowledge on COBOL/400 and AS400 development. The selected candidate needs to work in an offshore-onshore model.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development and maintenance of complex AS400/COBOL applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to team members
• Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback
• Support the testing and deployment phases of projects
• Work in an offshore-onshore model

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in COBOL/400, AS400 and CLLE development
• Proven experience in developing and maintaining complex AS400/COBOL applications
• Strong understanding of Medicare & Medicaid Claims, Claims, and Payer domains
• Experience working in an offshore-onshore model

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• CCO (Certified COBOL Developer) certification preferred
