Artistic DirectorTulsa Ballet | Tulsa, Oklahoma Tulsa Ballet, an internationally acclaimed ballet company recognized for its commitment to artistic excellence, seeks a visionary Artistic Director to lead the organization into its next chapter. Working in partnership with the Executive Director, under supervision of the Board of Directors, the Artistic Director will shape the company's artistic vision while ensuring excellence across performances, education, production, and community engagement. The successful candidate will curate Tulsa Ballet's annual repertoire, recruit and develop world-class dancers, oversee rehearsals and artistic staff, and champion the highest standards of classical and contemporary ballet. The Artistic Director also provides artistic oversight for Tulsa Ballet II and the Center for Dance Education, supervises key artistic and production leaders, and collaborates closely with administrative teams on budgeting, strategic planning, fundraising, marketing, and national and international touring opportunities. As a public ambassador for Tulsa Ballet, the Artistic Director will cultivate relationships with audiences, donors, artists, and community partners while advancing the company's reputation locally and globally. QualificationsMinimum five years of senior artistic leadership experience, such as Artistic Director, Resident Choreographer, or similar role.Demonstrated success producing and curating high-quality ballet performances.Deep expertise in classical ballet with an appreciation for contemporary dance.Strong leadership, communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.Experience with nonprofit arts organizations, budget management, and fundraising.
