We are looking for an Artificial Intelligence Engineering candidate that would impress us. The ideal candidate should:

Graduated from an Engineering School with a master’s degree – a PhD is a plus
Have experience ranging from junior to advanced: either as a student or having occupied positions such as Algorithm or Software Engineer, Artificial Intelligence Engineer
Be curious and willing to stay updated with the latest trends (technical, philosophical, ethical by design)
Enjoy thinking "outside the box" and using creativity to address complex challenges
Be recognized as a team player and promote collaborative work
Be user-centric and want to design components accordingly

Have in-depth knowledge in mathematics, algorithms, experiment plan, continuous iterations and Agility
Be proficient in one of the following Artificial Intelligence Approaches: Data driven AI, Symbolic AI, Hybrid AI
Understand the norms, laws and standards
Have knowledge of cybersecurity
Can confidently discuss with people from different jobs and backgrounds
Master foundational concepts in mathematics/statistics and their application to deploy them on solution studies: statistical modelling, linear algebra, optimisation, machine learning
Mathematics and Statistics

Working heritage on major satellite Earth Observation and Navigation systems
Simulation by tool such as Matlab & Simulink
Adopting modern Agile and DevOps processes
Knowledge of Data analysis and big data technologies
Knowledge of Cloud technologies and architectures
Knowledge of Edge technologies
Knowledge of object programming in particular Python (Pyorch), Java, C++ and relevant Data Science packages (such as numpy, scipy, scikit-learn, pandas…)
Good knowledge of operating systems

Design and develop trustworthy artificial intelligence components for various domains
Identify the right cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence technologies (machine learning, symbolic AI, dialogue) and develop the Artificial Intelligence component accordingly
Work on Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Understanding (NLU), and also to design multimodal approaches for Human-Machine Dialog including intention understanding, reasoning and hybrid AI
Work on Machine Learning, causality vs. correlation, and/or other Data driven AI techniques such as Random Forest, Evolutionary Algorithms, …
Work on Symbolic AI, Ontology, Semantic Web, Knowledge based Reasoning, Meta-heuristics, Problem Solving, Operations Research, Decision Making and reasoning
Propose and design approach alternatives
Integrate scientific method into engineering system methodology
Ensure data knowledge and traceability
Ensure continuous technowatch and be aware of the latest trends (technical, philosophical, ethical by design)
Define the system capabilities thanks to a functional, logical and value analysis, describing functions to be performed to meet the real needs of the user in the various scenarios and maximising product value for Customer

The starting salary range is € 35.884,96 - € 43.126,00. Performance Bonus (PDR): up to € 4.025.
