Artificial Intelligence Solutions Architect, Senior

About the role

The opportunity involves designing and implementing effective AI solution architecture or strategy utilizing various AI technologies and methods to address clients' business problems and needs, while complying with the organization's strategies and business goals, and key ethical considerations. The role requires applying advanced advising skills or extensive technical expertise, full industry knowledge, developing innovative solutions to complex problems, and leading architecture, platform engineering, and development teams on enterprise cloud engagements.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement effective AI solution architecture or strategy utilizing various AI technologies and methods to address clients' business problems and needs, while complying with the organization’s strategies and business goals, and key ethical considerations.
• Apply advanced advising skills or extensive technical expertise, full industry knowledge, and develop innovative solutions to complex problems.
• Lead architecture, platform engineering, and development teams on enterprise cloud engagements.
• Train and fine-tune Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Use LLMs, GenAI applications, or agentic AI orchestration frameworks.
• Deploy solutions using the Amazon AI product tool suite, SageMaker studio, and Bedrock.
• Use Big Data solutions, data migration technologies, and processes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience implementing IT systems, applications, and infrastructure.
• 5+ years of experience in AI/ML and Data Science using Python programming and big data technologies, including Hive, Q, Bedrock, PySpark, Synapse, or Databricks.
• 3+ years of experience designing and implementing a highly available, scalable, and resilient enterprise cloud environment.
• 3+ years of experience deploying solutions using the Amazon AI product tool suite, SageMaker studio, and Bedrock.
• 3+ years of experience using LLMs, GenAI applications, or agentic AI orchestration frameworks.
• Experience leading architecture, platform engineering, and development teams on enterprise cloud engagements.
• Knowledge of Big Data solutions, data migration technologies, and processes.
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a Technology field such as Computer Science or Statistics.
• Nice if you have: Experience providing technical guidance to architects and engineers, experience working in GCP or Microsoft Azure, knowledge of security and compliance requirements for cloud-based solutions, network architecture, and security principles, Master's degree in a Technology field, such as Computer Science or Statistics, or Doctorate degree in a related Technology field.

Pay

The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD).

Schedule

Our work model supports collaboration and effective communication, with employees expected to have their cameras on during meetings. Depending on the position, work may be performed remotely, at a Booz Allen facility, or at a customer facility.
