Artificial Intelligence Engineer

About the role

Design and implement AI-powered solutions that improve software functionality, using the latest AI tools, LLMs, and GenAI API workflows. Collaborate across AI, DevOps, and software engineering teams to seamlessly integrate, debug, and optimize AI models and AI-driven features (from prompt engineering to embedding optimization). Measure and optimize performance, assessing AI-generated content for bias, accuracy, and compliance while maintaining a strong analytical mindset to recommend continuous improvements.

Requirements

• You are comfortable in fast-paced environments where priorities can shift quickly.
• You value quality over speed and are curious about using AI to improve efficiency.
• At least 10 years of experience in an engineering role, with 7+ years of experience specifically developing AI/ML algorithms, Python-based GenAI solutions, and utilizing frameworks like LlamaIndex.
• Deep proficiency in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and modern Big Data/SQL pipelines.
• Based in or able to work East Coast (ET) hours, specifically maintaining core collaboration hours from 10am to 5pm Eastern Time (preference given to EST/CST candidates).
