Articulation and Credit Evaluation Lead, Registrar

About the role

Under the general direction of the Associate Registrar (or appropriate administrator), the Credit for Prior Learning (CPL) Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and supporting campus-wide Credit for Prior Learning (CPL) processes, policies, and evaluation procedures. The coordinator serves as the primary resource for students, faculty, staff, and external partners regarding CPL opportunities and ensures compliance with CSU Executive Orders, Title 5 regulations, accreditation standards, and university policies.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating and supporting campus-wide Credit for Prior Learning (CPL) processes, policies, and evaluation procedures.
• Serving as the primary resource for students, faculty, staff, and external partners regarding CPL opportunities.
• Ensuring compliance with CSU Executive Orders, Title 5 regulations, accreditation standards, and university policies.
• Coordinating the evaluation and awarding of academic credit for prior learning experiences, including military credit, industry certifications, standardized examinations, portfolio assessments, and other approved experiential learning pathways.
• Serving in an Articulation Lead capacity by coordinating articulation review processes.
• Maintaining articulation records and tracking systems.
• Supporting external articulation requests.
• Collaborating with academic departments and partner institutions to support transfer student success initiatives.

Pay

Anticipated Hiring Salary Range: $5,540/month - $5,750 per month. CSU Classification Salary Range: $5,540 - $7,893 per month.
