About the Role
Teach Intermediate World Art II, covering artists, cultures, and major works of world art and architecture from the Renaissance through modern times.
Responsibilities
- Introduce students to key artists and cultural contexts of world art from the Renaissance to the present.
- Guide students in studying diverse artworks, including paintings, sculptures, architecture, book covers, and prints.
- Help students analyze how great works of art influenced later artists and movements.
- Facilitate comparisons and contrasts between works from different civilizations.
- Encourage students to create original artworks inspired by the works they study.
