Role: An experienced Board Certified Registered Art Therapist (ATR-BC) and Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) will join the behavioral health team to provide art therapy and evidence-based interventions such as CBT, TF-CBT, and DBT. Responsibilities Conduct assessments, develop and implement treatment plans with client input.Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, including therapeutic art activities.Evaluate client progress, document treatment in electronic health records, and coordinate care with the treatment team.Provide community resource information and assist clients in accessing support services.Participate in professional development, supervision, and quality improvement activities.Meet agency metrics and participate in peer review processes. Authorities Develop and oversee client treatment plans, collaborate with medical and treatment staff.Determine engagement strategies and recommend changes in care levels or referrals.Maintain confidentiality, share client information with consent, and adhere to mandated reporting duties. Qualifications Master's in Art Therapy from an AATA-accredited program.ATR-BC certification and Connecticut LPC licensure.Experience working with trauma-affected underserved children, adolescents, and families preferred.Knowledge of trauma-informed and client-centered care principles.Strong communication, interpersonal, and time-management skills; proficient in electronic health records.
