Art Teacher (K–12)

Key Responsibilities
- Design immersive learning art experiences that feel less like “lessons” and more like personal journeys.
- Adapt strategies to meet every student’s unique style, transforming challenges into opportunities.
- Experiment with new models and tools that disrupt the traditional mold of education.
- Measure what matters, using assessments not as shackles, but as instruments for growth and innovation.
- Collaborate deeply with families to co-create individualized learning paths that empower rather than constrain.
- Contribute to the blueprint of Dragons Academy, helping shape the policies, culture, and direction of a school determined to lead education into its next era.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Art Education, Fine Arts, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Must hold valid Florida Teacher Certification in Art Education K–12 OR a Temporary Florida Teaching Certificate with an agreement to complete requirements for full Florida Educator Certification in Art Education within three years of employment start date.
- Minimum of 3 years of teaching or art instruction experience preferred.
- Strong background in visual arts, art history, and studio practices.
- Experience with individualized and inclusive teaching approaches.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Must have empathy for students and enthusiasm for developing personalized, one-to-one learning relationships.
