Art Teacher - High School

About the role

The Art Teacher facilitates student success in academics and interpersonal skills through creating a flexible class environment that is favorable to learning and personal growth. The teacher addresses the needs of each student in accordance with each student's ability through appropriate motivation to develop skills, attitudes, and knowledge for future learning and life.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate art classes that align with the curriculum and state standards.
• Develop lesson plans and materials that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Provide individualized feedback to students to support their artistic development.
• Collaborate with other educators to integrate art into interdisciplinary projects.
• Assess student progress and adjust instruction as needed.

• Certificate Copy (CBEST, CSET)

• Credential Copy
• English Learner Authorization (ELA1 or CLAD)
• Letter of Introduction
• Letter(s) of Recommendation (3 letters SIGNED and DATED within the last 12 months)
• Resume
• Single Subject Teaching Credential - Art (Valid CA)

Pay

Pay dependent on experience. Twelve years of teaching experience accepted upon hire. Range: $65,655 - $136,033 annual.
