About the Role

Plans instruction and assessment aligned with District learner outcomes and State achievement standards. Primary professional efforts are directed toward the development and success of individual professional goals, specifically focusing on instructional improvement and expertise in all areas of instruction.

Responsibilities

• Supervise assigned students and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Adapt instruction to meet the individual learning needs of all students to increase their achievement.
• Maintain positive interpersonal relationships with students, parents, staff, and community members.
• Participate in Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) to grow professionally through collaboration with colleagues and engagement in professional development activities.
• Plan lessons both collaboratively and independently.
• Support PLCs through personal involvement and contribute to the professional growth of others.
• Uphold and contribute to the school and District culture.
