Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (minimum).
- Valid Michigan teaching certificate with Arts Instruction endorsement.
- Demonstrated leadership in educational planning and lesson administration.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with students, staff, and community.
- Ability to collaborate within a management team and strategic planning process.
- Understanding of K–8 student growth and maturation patterns.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Must pass a criminal records check per Board of Directors’ policy.
About the Role
The Art Instructor is responsible for meeting the art educational needs of students in kindergarten through eighth grade.
