Art Director – Contract (Beauty)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Art Director to shape visual identity and lead creative across campaigns, launches, content, e-commerce, retail, paid media, and print.

Responsibilities

• Lead creative concepts and ensure consistent, elevated brand execution across channels.
• Turn marketing and product briefs into compelling visual stories and campaign assets.
• Art direct photo and video shoots from pre-production through final delivery.
• Partner with internal teams and external creative vendors while managing multiple projects and timelines.
• Stay current on beauty, fashion, and content trends.

Requirements

• 5+ years as an Art Director or Senior Designer in an omnichannel environment.
• Strong portfolio across social, e-commerce, retail, merchandising, and print.
• Proven photo and video shoot direction experience.
• Expertise in visual storytelling, typography, layout, and image-making.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and AI-enabled creative tools.
• Beauty or haircare experience strongly preferred.

Schedule

40 hours per week, hybrid in NYC (3 days per week on site).

Pay

$56.73 per hour.
