Art Class Figure Model (Nude Modeling)

About the role

The UAF Art Department seeks confident, expressive individuals who are passionate about being a part of the creative process. Whether you’re experienced or new to modeling, if you’re comfortable with your form and excited to collaborate with talented artists, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

• Serve as a nude model for advanced UAF figure drawing Art courses.
• Quietly hold standing, seated, and recumbent poses for at least 20 minutes at a time.
• Be prepared to come up with short and long poses for class sessions on your own, as well as take direction from the course instructors.
• Be personally clean for all modeling sessions, but no particular grooming or hair removal is expected.
• Be comfortable being studied as students learn to/practice drawing the human form, and maintain periods of silence while posing.
• Have good communication and organizational skills.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED/equivalent
• Must be 18 years of age or older

Qualifications

• Past experience modeling is a plus but not required.
• Interest in the arts/humanities is a plus but not required.
