About the Role

Washington Regional Urgent Care is seeking experienced ARRT Radiology or Limited License X-Ray Techs to join our team in Fayetteville, AR. This position involves performing x-ray testing, utilizing knowledge of anatomy and physiology, operating diagnostic equipment, and preparing rooms for procedures. Additionally, the role includes performing Medical Assistant duties.

Responsibilities

  • Promptly greet patients in waiting areas, exam rooms, and laboratory or x-ray rooms.
  • Communicate with patients about wait times and provide direction for the next steps in their treatment.
  • Provide solutions to patient problems and seek help in emergent/hazardous situations.
  • Execute follow-up calls with urgency.
  • Assist front desk personnel with patient check-in/out procedures when necessary.
  • Obtain and document patient vital signs, weight, and medical history.
  • Assist with patient transfers and procedures under provider supervision.
  • Follow documentation procedures and complete required patient visit documentation.
  • Perform timely radiology procedures for physician evaluation and treatment.
  • Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, ensuring patient safety and proper radiation protection techniques.
  • Ensure diagnostic equipment is in proper working order and report malfunctions.
  • Maintain and improve diagnostic imaging knowledge and skills through external resources.
  • Maintain current licensure and certification for radiology equipment and licensure.

Schedule

Full-time team members work a rotating 36-40 hour/week schedule, including 12-hour weekday shifts and every-other weekend. PRN (per diem) team members are scheduled on an as-needed basis.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • BLS Certification.
  • AR State X-Ray License.
  • ARRT Certification preferred.
  • Experience as a Medical Assistant preferred.
