ARRT Radiology / Limited License X-Ray Technologist - PRN
Job Summary
Ascension Saint Thomas Urgent Care is seeking experienced ARRT Radiology or Limited License X-Ray Techs to join their team in Cookeville, TN. This position performs x-ray testing, operates diagnostic equipment, and assists with patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Promptly greets patients and communicates wait times
- Assists with patient check-in/out procedures
- Obtains and documents patient vital signs, history, and medications
- Aids in patient transfers and procedures
- Executes follow-up calls with urgency
- Performs radiology procedures and ensures quality exams
- Prepares patients for procedures and maintains radiation safety
- Maintains diagnostic imaging knowledge and certifications
What's the Schedule?
Full-time team members work a rotating 36-40 hour/week schedule, including 12-hour weekday shifts and every-other weekend. PRN team members are scheduled on an as-needed basis.
What's Required?
- High school diploma or equivalent
- BLS Certification
- AR State X-Ray License
- ARRT Certification preferred
- Experience as a Medical Assistant preferred
