Responsibilities
- Initial diagnostic evaluation and treatment plan for patients till they are stabilized for discharge back to recommended level of follow up care.
- Each day, handle up to two new intake evaluations and treatment plans for new patients.
- Document medication director’s attestation of each assessment.
- Communicate with families and outpatient teams regarding each patient throughout the treatment course, up until discharge.
- Follow up on all patients on your case load for the day and document progress updates.
- Collaborate with ancillary staff members involved in patient care, such as nursing, social workers, and mental health technicians.
- Attend daily team rounding meetings on the unit in person from Monday to Friday.
- Provide at least one to two nights of call coverage on pager, depending on the weekend.
- Provide in-person 24-hour coverage on Saturdays and Sundays, at least once every five weeks, with similar responsibilities.
- Keep up with all licensure requirements and update your workday profile.
- Maintain annual mandatory trainings as directed by the system and report them to the Medical Director.
- Provide PTO requests at least 2-4 weeks in advance to the Medical Director for approval and submit formal requests through UKG.
Requirements
- Certification in psychiatric ARNP/D-ARNP.
- Licensed in WA state by time of employment.
- Minimum of 1-3 years clinical experience providing direct patient care.
- DEA, NPI, and prescriptive authority.
- Current BLS for health care providers certification by the American Heart Association.
- Maintain valid WA state motor vehicle license.

Pay and Benefits
We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental, and retirement benefits, and paid time off. The pay scale is $165,000.00 - $173,000.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including years of experience and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
