About the Role

The Family Nurse Practitioner-Float provides high-quality healthcare in both clinic and virtual settings, ensuring patient satisfaction and adherence to protocols. This role leads clinic staff, reviews patient histories, performs assessments, orders tests, prescribes medications, and develops diagnoses while maintaining compliance with regulations like HIPAA. The position requires flexibility, strong communication, and teamwork to deliver exceptional patient care and support new employee onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Deliver care via in-person and telehealth modalities.
• Lead and guide clinic staff to ensure quality service.
• Conduct patient assessments, review histories, and formulate diagnoses.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and educate patients.
• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with regulations.
• Participate in team meetings, training, and community outreach.
• Support new employee onboarding and foster a respectful, collaborative work culture.
• Maintain professional licensure and meet ongoing training requirements.

Requirements

• Experience in urgent care, occupational medicine, or family practice is preferred.
• Active licensure as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
• Active DEA registration.
