Armored Car Driver/Messenger - Days

About the role

An armored car driver/messenger at Malca-Amit is required to work in a fast-paced customer-focused environment and to ensure the protection of personnel and shipments for which the company is responsible. This position requires strict adherence to policies and procedures to protect and safeguard the transport and property of Malca-Amit and its customers, as well as the safety of people on the premises of Malca-Amit.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe environment for colleagues and customers
• Receive package(s), verify the integrity of package(s), verify routing, and transport back to the hub
• Deliver package(s), verify the integrity of package(s), verify consignee, and deliver to client(s)
• Load and unload armored vehicles
• Complete daily reports
• Drive an armored vehicle, perform pre-trip inspection and respect road safety regulations
• Complete daily reports
• Crosstrain and perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum qualifications: Minimum of 23 years of age, valid conceal carry permit or ability to obtain one, valid guard card or ability to obtain one, able to lift at least 50 pounds, must pass drug screen, polygraph test and FBI background check, excellent attendance, self-starter, flexible schedule
• Preferred qualifications: High School diploma or GED, previous experience as an armed guard or military experience or protective services experience
