Responsibilities

• Performing mechanical assembly, repair, inspection, and testing of equipment and components.
• Receiving, inspecting, cleaning, and preparing field inspection equipment for service and deployment.
• Maintaining shop supplies, tools, and equipment while ensuring a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Aiding with the modification and fabrication of parts and components to ensure proper fit, function, and finish.
• Packaging, labeling, and preparing equipment and materials for shipment to project locations.
• Completing required documentation, inspection records, and inventory transactions accurately.
• Following all company safety policies, procedures, and quality standards.
• Collaborating with technicians, engineers, and cross-functional teams to support shop operations and project activities.
• Supporting troubleshooting and maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability and performance.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent qualification.
• 2+ years of experience in mechanical assembly, manufacturing, maintenance, equipment repair, or a related field.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn new technical skills quickly.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and shop equipment.
• The ability to read and interpret work instructions, technical drawings, and operational procedures.
• Experience in troubleshooting and problem-solving in a mechanical or manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and other basic computer applications.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
• The physical ability to safely lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Experience in manufacturing, assembly, maintenance, or repair environments preferred.
• Familiarity with measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and micrometers preferred.
• Forklift certification or the willingness to obtain certification preferred.
