Armed Vault Lead Attendant -2nd shift

About the role

GardaWorld is seeking a Vault Custodian to join its team. This position involves securing and managing cash and valuables for clients, requiring a background in guarding and handling sensitive assets.

Responsibilities

• Distribution and receipt of moneybags, receipts, daily route guides, route keys and schedules to Driver/Messenger and/or Crew Leaders.
• Buying and selling of loads.
• Verifying bulk money received from the vault, other departments and external sources.
• Treating employees, customers and public with courtesy.
• Resolving route discrepancies with Crew Leaders.
• Aiding in tracking, resolving and reporting missing or misrouted items.
• Aiding in maintaining attendance and punctuality calendars.
• Training new personnel on proper procedures and policies.
• Making decisions regarding crew safety and operations based on company policies and procedures.
• Making sure identification cards, fuel cards, route keys, deposits, moneybags, receipts, daily guide sheets, change boxes, firearms, monies and other route equipment are collected at the end of the shift.
• Moving and balancing liabilities to prepare route loads for the following days' activities.
• Performing Driver/Messenger or Crew Leader duties as requested.
• Handling ATM dispatch and other calls as needed.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must have all required driver's licenses and maintain a satisfactory driving record.
• May be required to have a valid Commercial Driver's License with no air-brake restrictions.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must obtain and maintain all required guard and gun permits.
• Must demonstrate clarity and proficiency in oral and written communication in the English language.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in person and by radio.
• Must be able to give clear oral and written instructions and have the ability to train.

Benefits

Starting pay is $18.50 per hour, plus lead pay. 2nd Shift Monday through Friday: 5pm - close.
