Armed Site Supervisor - Savannah, GA

Responsibilities

• Oversee the performance of all shifts and Security Officers on duty.
• Maintain a working knowledge and understanding of Specific and General Post instructions for assigned post(s), including additional and emergency post instructions as required by the client.
• Patrol assigned post by walking or using a company-provided vehicle where applicable.
• Conduct inspections of posts and Security Officers to ensure compliance with Post Orders, Walden Security procedures, and general post assignment knowledge.
• Report urgent matters or issues to the Post Supervisor, Roving or Field Supervisors, and the Operations Manager.
• Record daily events on Officers Daily Reports (ODR) for review by supervisors and management.
• Register at watch stations to record time of inspection trips and contracted random inspections.
• Assist in on-the-job training for newly assigned Security Officers as necessary.
• Respond to urgent client needs or requests for services or changes to services.
• Notify appropriate authorities (supervisors, police, fire department, client, etc.) of emergency situations or post order violations.
• Examine doors, windows, and gates of assigned posts to ensure security.
• Warn violators of rule infractions (e.g., loitering, smoking, carrying forbidden articles) and expel persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts.

Requirements

• High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• Minimum of 25 years of age.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, and MVR check.
• Minimum of 6 months of security officer and supervisor experience.

Receives general direction from the Post Supervisor, Roving or Field Supervisors, or Operations Manager. Exercises direct supervision over 1-15 Security Officers and Shift Supervisors. Provides input to management regarding operations, post status, and Security Officers.

Pay

$20 USD per hour.
