About the Role
Allied Universal Services is seeking an Armed Security Site Supervisor to supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services to an assigned customer. The Armed Site Supervisor will act as a liaison between customers, Operation Managers, and security officers. They will supervise site staff and provide coaching, recognition, and discipline within approved empowerment range.
Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8am-4pm
Pay: $20/hour, paid weekly
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate security services for an assigned customer site.
- Act as a liaison between customers, Operation Managers, and security officers.
- Provide coaching, recognition, and discipline to site staff within approved empowerment range.
- Communicate staffing needs to the Operation Manager, including requisition processes, candidate identification, and interviews.
- Ensure officers receive appropriate training and professional development, including performance management (coaching, counseling, evaluations, and recognition).
- Address employee grievances with support from branch or regional HR.
- Handle crisis situations calmly and efficiently at the client site.
- Utilize scheduling and billing software to produce and interpret reports (e.g., Scheduling Activity, Training Detail) for effective business management.
- Operate innovative, wireless technology at client-specific sites.
Requirements
- At least 21 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of Armed Security and Supervisory experience.
- Valid Armed Security License (licensing requirements vary by state/local laws).
- Effective written and oral communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with all levels of personnel and the public.
- Intermediate computer skills.
- Ability to pass a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
- Ability to work in various environments (e.g., cold weather, rain/snow, heat).
- Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds.
- Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift.
- Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time.
