About the role
As a Strategic Patrol Armed Security Officer in DALLAS, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in logistics and distribution locations.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with supervisors, local authorities, and/or site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, shipping and receiving areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor the movement of personnel, visitors, deliveries, and/or vehicles entering and leaving the location, following post orders and verifying credentials, manifests, and/or access permissions.
- Perform armed post duties in accordance with Allied Universal policies and site requirements, maintaining professional presence and supporting security-related operations during routine activities and emergency situations.
Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Qualifications
- Must be able to pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
