Armed Security Officer Secret Clearance Part Time

About the role

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver at a leading aerospace and defense location in Culpeper, VA, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, monitor assigned areas, and help deter security-related incidents. This driving post offers the opportunity to provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a mission-focused environment. Position type: Part Time.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorizations, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site requirements.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and complete accurate incident documentation.
• Maintain awareness of restricted areas, controlled materials, and facility operations while following applicable post orders, company procedures, and client requirements.

Requirements

• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR Certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Pay

$28.59 per hour.

Schedule

Part-time. Wednesday and Thursday, 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
