Armed Security Officer Patrol
About the role
Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer at a dynamic financial institution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
- Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and/or communicating with local authorities when needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter access points.
- Monitor access activity, verify credentials as required by site policies, and help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious behavior.
- Support cash handling and other sensitive operational areas through visible presence, observation, and timely reporting of security-related concerns.
Requirements
- Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
- Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
- Possess a corrections officer license.
- Possess a law enforcement officer license.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications
- Minimum requirements include possession of a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.
Skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of security protocols and emergency response procedures.
