Armed Security Officer Part Time Weekends

About the role

The Armed Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our Armed Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers and serve as a physical deterrent.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol client sites to ensure compliance with regulations and directives.
• Provide customer service and information to clients’ employees and customers.
• Enforce safety protocols and respond to emergencies as necessary.
• Preserve order and deter criminal activity.
• Communicate effectively with clients and other security personnel.

Requirements

• Must possess a valid Armed Security Officer license or Guard Card (state-specific).
• Current firearm permit and ability to carry legally on duty.
• Prior law enforcement - Retired.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Excellent situational awareness and communication skills.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Able to stand for long periods and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Flexible schedule — must be available nights, weekends, and holidays.

Pay

$35.00 an hour.

Schedule

Part Time, Friday / Saturday, 11p-7am.
