As an Armed Security Professional supporting a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at a government location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions, hazards, and unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and applicable laws.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for personnel, visitors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with established protocols.
• Prepare accurate activity logs, incident reports, and written documentation, and promptly communicate relevant information to site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and emergency responders as needed.

Requirements

• Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay & Schedule

Pay Rate: $21.40 / Hour

Schedule: Wednesday 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM, Thursday 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM
