Armed Security Officer- Part Time
About the role
GardaWorld Security Services is now hiring a Tactical Armed Security Officer in Los Angeles, CA. The ideal candidate should have a keen sense of observation, physical fitness, and experience in security, military, or law enforcement.
Responsibilities
- Patrol sensitive areas to spot suspicious activity
- Verify identities and control access to secure areas
- React quickly to threats or incidents
- Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras
- Document incidents and actions taken
- Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks
- Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents
- Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property
Qualifications
- Be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
- Be at least 21 years old
- Have first aid certification
- Have at least 2 years experience as an Armed Officer
- Have a state issued armed security license and meet any additional requirements to carry a firearm as a security officer in your state
- Have a CA security license (BSIS Guard Card)
- Have completed additional 32hr. BSIS security trainings
- Have a CA Exposed Firearm Permit

24 hours per week, Thursday - Saturday, 10:00 pm - 6:30 am
Skills
Physical fitness, keen sense of observation, experience in security, military, or law enforcement, first aid certification, state issued armed security license, and a CA security license (BSIS Guard Card).
