As an Armed Security Officer - Overnight Property Patrol in Las Vegas, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and government personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, courtyard, parking areas, building perimeter, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report irregularities, hazards, and security-related concerns through established channels.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; request additional assistance when appropriate.
• Maintain assigned equipment, complete accurate activity and incident reports, and perform duties in accordance with Allied Universal policies, client requirements, and applicable laws.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay & Schedule

Pay Rate: $21.40 / Hour. Schedule: Monday 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM, Tuesday 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM, Friday 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM, Saturday 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM, Sunday 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM.
