Armed Security Officer Overnight Patrol

About the role

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver in Goldsboro, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government corrections location.
• Conduct regular and random armed foot and vehicle patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and document visitor, contractor, and incident information as required.
• Carry and maintain authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, site requirements, and Allied Universal policies.

Requirements

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Have at least six months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
