Responsibilities

• Report any unusual circumstances and take appropriate corrective actions
• Ensure the protection of individuals from harm by monitoring for safety hazards
• Provide escort services
• Respond to unsafe situations
• Enforce hospital parking regulations
• Aid individuals with vehicle problems
• Respond and take appropriate action in instances where the imminent threat of human life is occurring

Requirements

• Over 5 years of law enforcement experience
• High School Diploma
• Associates Degree preferred
• Valid Driver’s License
• Licensed Security Officer- Class D required
• Licensed Security Officer- Class G required
• International Association for Healthcare Safety and Security (IAHSS) Advanced Certification preferred
• International Association for Healthcare Safety and Security (IAHSS) Safety Certification preferred
• International Association for Healthcare Safety and Security (IAHSS) Basic Certification preferred
