Armed Security Officer Hospital Patrol

About the role

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol in Elizabethtown, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence in accordance with post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity for restricted areas, patient care areas, and visitor screening locations according to site-specific protocols.
• Document incidents, observations, and security-related concerns, and communicate with supervisors, local law enforcement, and/or onsite personnel as appropriate.

Requirements

• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.
