Armed Security Officer, Full Time Day
The Opportunity
Saint Luke’s South Hospital in Overland Park, KS is seeking an Armed Security Officer to join our team. You will be required to know all aspects of security, including: patrolling, approved security responses, and reporting incidents/issues according to department procedures. Individuals must be 21 years or older to work in this position.
Shift Details
- Full Time Day
- 6am-4pm
- Wheel Rotation
Work Assists
We assist employees, patients, and visitors with parking needs, controlling entrances and exits to parking lots, patrolling the hospital campus, and reporting safety/security issues according to department procedures. We also provide personal escorts and other routine security services to employees, patients, and visitors.

- Less than 1 year Armed Private Officer - Various
- Basic Life Support RQI - Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI)
- Driver's License - Various
