Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, exterior areas, parking lots, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas while reporting suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or potential hazards to site leadership and appropriate personnel.
• Document observed activity, incidents, and/or response actions, and communicate with local authorities, store representatives, and Allied Universal leadership as needed.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Guard Card in Texas only.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
