Armed Security Officer - Finance Company

About the role

As an Armed Security Officer supporting a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to situations requiring sound judgment. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and clients at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, vendor, and contractor activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and emergency responders as appropriate.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required records of patrols, incidents, and other security-related activities.

Requirements

• Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Preferred qualifications: Baton certification and customer service experience.

Pay

$33.00 / Hour

Schedule

• Position Type: Part Time
• Day shifts: Monday and Tuesday, 08:00 AM - 05:30 PM
