As an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a professional environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of aerospace and defense facilities, including building interiors, exterior areas, access points, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access control points and verify authorization for employees, visitors, deliveries, and/or contractors in accordance with site requirements.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation related to incidents, patrol activities, access control, and other security-related observations.

Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay & Schedule

Position Type: Part Time
Pay Rate: $30.47 / Hour
Job Schedule: DayTime Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM, Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
