Responsibilities

  • Manning the entrance and exit gates
  • Witnessing the proper disposal of security features
  • Conducting walk-through security checks of all buildings and grounds
  • Providing escort services to outside contractors and visitors
  • Auditing and assessing potential threats to building security

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1+ years’ experience in security or law enforcement
  • Valid driver’s license and a good driving record
  • Possess and maintain a valid Massachusetts Class “A” firearms permit or a restricted Massachusetts Class “A” firearms permit with intent of receiving unrestricted permit within 120 days of starting this position
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with an ability to demonstrate and maintain suitability for employment in a position of Public Trust consistent with our US Government contract requirements

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in criminal justice or security
  • Certified as a Certified protection Officer (CPO) by the International Foundation for Protection Officers (IFPO)

Pay

$25.64 hourly. Pay is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, and location.

Schedule

This is a 2nd shift position (3:30PM - 11:30PM - Tuesday - Friday and 7:15AM - 3:30PM on Saturday) that will also require the ability to cover other shifts for absences.
