Armed Security Officer - Automotive Service Center
Job Description
As a Security Officer Licensed Armed Patrol in Irving, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong communication and customer service.
What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a financial location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and/or local authorities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter access points, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
- Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and high-traffic spaces, verifying access permissions, observing daily activity, and following post orders related to cash handling areas, customer service spaces, and other sensitive locations.
- Support Allied Universal standards by maintaining a professional presence, following weapon handling protocols, and completing required reports, logs, and/or incident documentation in a timely manner.
Minimum Requirements
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

Pay
The pay rate for this position is $19.00 per hour.
Schedule
The job schedule is DayTime, Monday through Friday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
